Funny how most people that own these old cars tune them by smelling the exhaust.Car came in with 160hp/190tq running 16-1 A/F.

We did the exhaust and new intake setup and got 235hp/268tq so far.

Does it have a 3/4 race cam and cheater slicks?

I love my new school muscle but that body style defines the classic muscle car look to me.

Nothing like an old school car with new school muscle.

I'd love to have this car and put my LS 427ci with A4 tranny in it.

That's one of my favorite cars. Chevelles' from about 70 to 72, styling was great, and the engine bay, you can praticially sit inside it and work on stuff, there's so much room in there it's not even funny. A tall deck BBC doesn't even look big in one of those cars.

Very nice ride, and a pretty good gain too for not alot of work so far. Funny the comment about the exhaust too... I've heard that too many times before. Kind of funny

Its nice to see something stay true to its roots once in a while. Not everything has to have an LS motor in it. Besides it drives the price of them up for the rest of us.

You gotta love the old steel. Old muscle cars from that era are timeless. Playing around with a carb and changing points and rotors might not be ideal, but sometimes I wish it was that simple again.

Funny part is I can sit there and watch the Mecham auto auction and see all these great cars for under 30k I would love, but if it came down to it I'd probably be going to the newer muscle for a variety of reasons. I can certainly appreciate the guys who keep these cars in good shape and drive them too.

There are times I miss my 70 Chevelle. My Father In Law is all about the old School. I tell him though if I were to buy something older, it be a GTO or 87 GN.

I'm with you Don. Old school is great, but modern brakes and fuel injected power and reliability are a great add on.
