So a State Trooper stopped at my house just now....
i was out smoking a cig while the dog was taking a duce
and i see a trooper flying up the road about 80mph (50 mph speed limit) so i throw a friendly wave (in my mind saying slow the **** down) and he hits his breaks. i say to my fiance "wouldnt it be funny if he turned around and came back" sure enough we see him coming back and pull into our driveway. lol. he gets out and the dog runs out to him (4month old blue pit bull) and he gets out and asks if everything was ok. i said yes and he pet the dog and said ok just making sure and then off he went lol

Cops can be @$$ holes. If he had time to stop, turn around, and ask you if everything was ok than he obviously wasn't in a hurry in the first place and had no reason to be going 80 down the street.

well on the other side of the fence, say you did need help and he didnt stop, wed hear the story about a ******** cop who flew by and didnt see you flagging him down....i dont agree with the speed thing but its always one sided it seems, not many stories about the good things police do.

I do hate stereotypes. I've had quite a few cop encounters. My past few have been extremely cool.

Let me guess, you are profiled because you drive a camaro
I've had quite a few also. Have a pretty bad record myself, still respect cops. Like you most of them are cool guys just doing their job.

There's always those one or two guys that have to post about how the cops ruined their lives, or "**** the cops..they're all ********" just because they are still salty they got caught racing a few years back.
Either way its a good thing he stopped just to make sure everything was okay.
I think I have had nearly every type of (traffic) encounter with the cops and still have no issue with them.

I've had some poor experiences with cops where they acted very unprofessionally towards me so i no longer have respect for the majority of them. If a cop needs to be going 80 through a neighborhood, his lights should be on so he doesn't cause an accident and kill someone.
