4/24 - Real Street its almost here!!
I know its early guys, but who is going to be in this year?!?!?!
I went from ready to sell my car to itching to race now. Just have to get thecar back together in the next few weeks and see if i remember how to drive her. She's been on the jack stands since I broke at the last quick street race back in Oct.
Hoping to have a better season this year and avoid all the breakage i had to deal with last year. the new faceplated trany should help, plus the rebuilt rear end that i still need to find the time to put in!!
See you guys all up there soon!!

Just show up to support the class, we need all the racers to come to show NED heads up racing is where its at. Imagine 50 cars in the staging lanes to qualify for a quick 8, it will blow their minds!!

i will start the season with my 3 year old et drags, but after once i get the motor dialed in i will be swapping to a 275 radial. i know the car will be faster with them and i want to drive it on the street more and it seems every time i run my slicks on the street i end up with a flat!! doh

I've been trying to get together with the commitee for weeks now, but everyone has a hectic schedule. I am going to make sure I lock the dates this weekend, because it cannot be postponed any longer.

Just 1 class this year which is Extreme 275, if we get the car counts we can create 2 classes Limited 275 which will be for the D1,YS guys 9.0-9.50 range
If you want to see the rules I have them posted on my website 508racing.com I created a section just for X-275

Well the times is up in the air, kind of have to look at what the Wild Street cars are running 5.30-5.50 1/8 mile. These are mostly the guys that will probably race this class. I'm thinking a 5.30 wins the class, but anywhere from 5.30-6.0 will do well. This will be in 1/8 mile format.

It is 1/8 mile because it keeps it a level playing field. Most of the guys in the class will be geared for 1/4 mile. The only track doing 1/4 x275 is atco. This is the first heads up class at NED. We need to support it to open up for more classes.

yea, 1/8 would be good for my car i guess because nitrous cars burn up top most of the time. i could prob get that car to the 1/8 with 300-400 worth of spray no prb. lol we'll see when i get tires.
