Well at the last minute I decided to make another cecil run due to the weather was to be really nice and it was. On my runs the DA varied from -104DA to +44DA with a on site Weather machine.
So I made my traditional 1000ftish run to start the nite and see how she's doing. I hooked and bogged and ran it out a bit and left off and hit the brakes. I let the car cool down and we have someone hit the wall, couple break downs and a oil down. So I figured oh well might aswell make this my full pass of the nite. Note on this pass someone was nice enough to put blue tape over my license plate and write "I LOVE *****... MMM GOOD" on it and let me drive through the pits and lanes. NICE ONE DEVILISH!!!
So I make my 2nd and last pass and I try launching even harder and think I hazed the clutch lightly and it felt reallly good so I stayed into it for the entire pass. Once again no 10's for me. Heres the run down.

This was with not as good of weather. So IMO the new Hoosier 315/30/17's are hurting me. I dont understand how the websites say the Mickey thomspon DR is 26.0 tall and the hoosier 315 is 25.60 tall but side by side my Hoosier is clearly .5 taller then the mickey thompson and I think thats whats hurting me. Makes no sense to have .07 better 60ft and run almost the same ET and lower MPH with better weather unless its the damn tires being taller IMO. The shifting I honestly think has gotten faster aswell. I believe Fran from RPM got the pass on video and hopefully can post up at some point. Either way I fell short yet again cause I suck at life!!!

Funnier than you know lol ESP while people were watching me do it.....

Bruce drove from the pit area into the lanes as he went pasted the techs they both took a double take. I thought they were going to say something. He stops at the top of the lane a 5-6 guys start pointing and laughing. I waved them off and started talking to them. Bruce gets out walks over says a couple of words and probably a smart *** remark. I say your the one that love ***** and he says shhh it's a secret. Then one of the guys says something like "**** whole world knows" First time I saw Bruce at a lost for words for more than 10 seconds and he burp out dont tell my wife. Everyone walked away and Bruce walks behind his car and it takes him a good 30-45 seconds to realize he loves *****.

Theres always 4 or 5 of us. You know its like Silver GTO's and Black T/A's just sprouting outta the wood work.
Yeah i'm pretty much toast here soon. Probably realized the pattern now too. Run high 11 at 88mph, run 11 at 99mph, maybe run one more high 11 and wham 11.0-11.2s lol!
