Default GMPP 454 LSx

What would be the best application for this motor.. F/I, Power-Adder, Carb, or N/A?

If you had one- how would you use it for best results?

LSX 454 Crate Engine

An engine with 454 cubic inches will always be assosiated with higher performance Chevys, and that tradition continues with the all new LSX454 crate engine. We started with the new LSX bowtie block, stuffed it with an all-forged, super tough rotating assembly, and bolted on a pair of our new deep breathing LSX six-bolt cylinder heads.

The new LSX six bolt cylinder heads are based on the race-derived LS7 heads that help deliver more than 500 horsepower in the Corvette Z06. They enable tremendous low end torque and great high RPM power. The LSX 454 is delivered in long block form. It also comes dressed with great looking, all new orange powder-coated valve covers with 'LSX 454" logos engraved and painted in black.

Note:

Oil pan and oil pump pickup are not included. LSX valve covers do not have coil mount provisions, coils will need to be relocated

Id bolt on a FAST 102 with matching throttle body and a nice Direct port system for 250 shot and be done with it. The 11.1 compression ratio should be dropped some for a good boost application.

Itd probably be a great platform for a carb setup but thats just not my style.

Definatley a direct port. cr is too high for boost and the bore is kinda big for boost.
how much are they selling that for?

if the cr was only lower. Like 8.5:1. then that thing would be perfect
