Default headers install?

I'm getting headers on friday for my camaro ss. Any local shops with in 45-60 minutes of middlesex/piscataway to get them isntalled? I tried ttp pefromance, but they want 550-600 to install...I remember them costing 400.

Thumbs up

You can try Cartek Racing (www.cartekracing.com), they're less than 25 minutes away from you in Garwood NJ. 908-317-4496
You might find that most LSx shops are charging roughly the same for header installs and tuning as some of the installs on these cars are not easy or quick, the key is choosing the shop that you feel will do the job right and has proven results.
Cartek has done awesome by me with my cars.

4 years ago, you just said it yourself. Things change over time. Shop around and get an idea of shops in the area but it may just be the new going rate. You want a shop that will make sure they dont leak, make sure the rest of the exhaust doesnt hang too low, make sure they rest of the exhaust isnt banging the car and you dont want your engine bay hacked up with scratches and crap.

When it comes down to it, this **** isnt cheap hahah. If it's alot, wait until you get a few more mod's and do everything at once.

can't do it myself...don't have tools or space to work on it at my place. I got in contact with cartek racing and they have pretty good pricing and they are only 10 miles away. Thanks everyone

Depends on the headers and Y pipe. Some are easier than others. Our installs are as low as $350. Send me an e-mail, mike@rapidmotorsports.com or give a call 610-404-7979.
