1fastbird's turbo toy is alive Well Chad finally got his car on the dyno today to dial the tune in a little on lower boost. The car performed pretty well but the numbers were a little misleading with the th400 and 9 inch but I think it will put down some good track numbers. Anyway here is a couple of vids of some 12psi 2nd gear runs. I didn't feel like taking this thing to 150+ on the dyno so we did our full pulls in 2nd.

It made around 640 at 12psi in second gear. I'm not sure how much the th400 and 9 inch eats up but I'm pretty happy with the outcome. The dyno numbers look low but I'm more interested in the track performance......As long as I can run low 9's at 12# I will be happy..........We did see 675 but that was at 16psi and was shut down at 5000 rpm and we only had 12 degrees of timing. There is alot of power to be made.....These turbos aren't even breaking a sweat yet.

Fantastic to see her up and running!!!! Maybe we'll have to full out race cars running around soon. If Lt.Dan gets his up and going one day next year. Should be awesome having some turbo T/A's out to beat up on the mexican mile!

The weak point will be the size of my ********* on the street. With a 3.25 rear gear this thing might be scarey on the top end......On second thought, turbo cars don't have a weak point....

Chad already has one race lined up against a cool turbo truck. What he doesn't know is while its sitting at my house I'm going to pull the waistegate springs out so he will be running on motor and if that doesn't work I will put a speed limiter in it so I can do a ricer fly by.
