The went there some time ago this year. Looks like they run local track programs for racing so I saw they had the index classes running. Interested in your thoughts if you attended. Was there good turnout for your indexes?
they are coming to etown tomorrow after our race and I am thinking about staying but not real sure especially since it going to be HOT!!!

My cousins raced the index, but it was the normal quikstreet class, they didnt run the nopi stuff. Its a good time regardless if you dont mind the hip hop music in the pits, plus chicks love Nopi

I raced at NOPI this year at NED. They did an 11.5 index .400 Protree class which is identical to NED QuikStreet class which was also racing the same day. So I did both, talk about hot-lapping!
The NOPI thing was weird since 90% of the cars were NED regulars
(mostly classic muscle cars) They limited the classes to the top 16 cars, and IIRC there were only 1 or 2 imports in the 11.50 class, and none in the 10.50 class.
It was a good time because the car count was pretty low,and they kept the test & tune lanes open all day so after I got taken out in the second round (to an LS1 Camaro) I did a few more passes before packing it up for the day.
The other thing is it appeared that NOPI was strapped for cash, as the entry fee was cash-only and they charged for parking too!

As i expected, turnout was light. I raced two classes before nopi and was wiped out and could not stay to run. Someone went four rounds to win 1250!!!
