Good luck. You also need to get a panel from a 98 or earlier if your looking used. GM is pretty much out of stock and if you find them they are an arm and a leg.
6LE Sells them, he copy's the original and makes them in fiberglass. It's probably your best bet. An original panel Costs more than twice what he's asking.

I noticed my car just started to show little bubbles and tiny ripples last year on a couple spots. SUCKS.
The panel needs to come off, you can't fix it by sanding/filling, etc. It will come back. I'm hoping I can get a few more years outta mine before they pop like zits.

mine has been like this since 2005 but it hasnt gotten any worse. just looks like some dimples and really unnoticable unless youre really lookin for it. hopefully it doesnt get worse.

Its real subtle when it starts, but eventually breaks through the paint. You see them all around the perimeter of the panel.

I just started noticing mine last year, it will happen eventually. I think warmer climates promote this faster.

Yup, I've got a black 00 ss that has a 4k paint job and unfortunately I've got the bubbles too. The shop tried painting it twice but there still there. I didn't have the coin for a new panel at the time.

had mine at the paint shop just a temp fix and they sprayed some type of primer/sealer and paint hopefully it will last me the summer then i can order a new one
