Default best manual transmission

iam in search of a manual trans to replace my t56,does any one know anything about using a lenco, liberty, bruno behind a gen III?.
ive read bad things about g-force when you get up to the 1000 hp range,
tremec's magnumIII is only good for up to 700lbs of torque.
and i really dont want to use a girly girl racing automatic.
this is for an f-body street strip use.

Is your T-56 shot? My stock T-56 took some serious abuse from 2001 to 2006 until I Liberty Face Plated the same tranny and then just beat on it some more. The car and tranny has a little over 20,000 miles, and about 5,000 of that are track passes. With that said, the stock tranny will take some serious abuse if you are a decent driver. I know this hasn't answered your questions, but I just wanted to put some info out there.

I've heard good things about Tick though.

You would be amazed what a stock T-56 will handle, but, you can find some really nice built T-56's in the classifieds for good prices. I beat my stock trans for years with 700+ rwhp. I also destroyed two McLeod Street Twins and one built drive shaft with it at the track. Sorry for my stock T-56 bandwagon, but I have seen how tough they are over the years. I hate to see people spend money on parts that are needed since I've been there, done that.

I have my Built T-56 for sale if you are interested. Everything upgraded, viper input and output shaft.

But if you want your rebuilt i would recommend D&D. They are the best.

if you want to switch to a G Force 4spd which i did and can help you out with the info.
