Cecil Co Drags open or closed this weekend I was planning on going this Sat and getting some passes in with my stocker 98 Z and see what it will run and a buddy wants to get some passes in on his he put a 12 bolt in with a gear change and wants to see what the car runs now..... anybody going

I heard they would be open this weekend I may take a ride down and see what's going on but who knows with Cecil, one day they say they will be open then another they close last minute.

I didnt see any body not hooking track was nice my bone stock z2 best time was 13.23 with a 199 60 foot 103 mph no slicks k&n air filter slp lid flowmaster cat back 373 gear did six passes all 199 60 foot playing with a hypertech tunner ranged from 13.23 to a 13.88 ..... yesterday after racing did some checking on the front end and found both front brake slides stuck fast ......my run better with the brakes off LOL

When I hooked yesterday I ran new personal bests at the track. Best 60 ft was 1.686
On the passes where I did not hook I'm thinking it may have been a driver problem.

I learned Saturdays are 90% of the time way better (as long as a race isn't going on that day)....more passes, better track prep, and a lot less rice .....I guess due to the $$ ?....but i'm OK with that

I've been there on a couple of Friday nights and I'll pass on that to many people drinking and carring on in the pits ...quads ripping around ect... I'll spend the couple of extra bucks for Saturday

Friday night SUCKED for my car. Should've gone down yesterday but wound up helping my buddy get his race car ready he just got back.
Even on the MTs my car wouldnt hook. Best 60' of the night was a 1.78 and best full pass was a 11.84.
Might go back in a couple weeks on a Saturday and see what happens.
