Hey guys,

I'm down in Texas but was recently in the northern Virginia area for work.(Potomac, Woodbridge) I stayed with a buddy of mine and come to know it he recently bought a 3rd gen camaro.
Long story short he won't pass emissions and needs "help" passing. Was wondering if anyone in the area could help him out.

Get the rear 02's deleted out of the pcm and he will pass... Emissions is not visual here so if he is cat less it dosent matter but Virginia saftey inspection is s different story...

Go to the DMV website and change the car to being garaged in spotsylvania or culpeper. He won't need to worry about emissions at all then because those counties (among others) don't have emissions testing.

For V.A emissions test, if it is obd2 You do not have a emissions component check. They check for codes and thats it. If it is pre-obd2 they have to do a visual inspection, they look for canister,evap, cats and ect. Than they run them on a dyno with a sniffer in the exhaust. It is hard to get around it.

Thanks for the info guys, he didn't say why he didn't pass inspection, that was just my guess. He doesn't know I'm trying to help him out either but I will find out more info from him though. I will keep everyone posted.
