Default Detailing: 2002 Chevy Camaro SS (Gangsta) - Black

What we have here is a 2002 Chevy Camaro Black on Black... Super well taken care of by the owner... But in our hands to bring back to 100% after a few mishaps by mother nature and car show goers.

This customer, Justin, is our kind of guy . Car guy through and through , hung out with us all day shooting the S about cars and even lending a hand. Not to mention just as particular about his car as we are about our own. He approached us asking to have is car brought back to 100% as he is starting to see swirls, had a mishap with mother nature in the middle of October last year (2ft of snow!!!) and a car show goer who can't read, let alone respect someone elses car :shakehead:.

Scott and I spent 18 man hours on this beast and we both have to say, this car is 99 out of 100 when it comes to the paint. We were able to address 99% of the areas Justin wanted taken care of and removed all the minor swirling in the paint. Car finished looking dripping wet with a reflection in low light that you could mistake for a mirror. Fantastic car to work on.

Thanks for the opportunity Justin and enjoy! Now on to the rest of the write up...

The owner is very particular about his car and was looking to get that little extra out of it. The car was in great shape to start and the owner knows how to take care of a black car. So the pressure was on a little to get it as perfect as possible. (Especially under his watchful eye )

We used a very mild compound to start, around 4000 grit, and finished up with a nano polish for an even more jeweled effect. It was worth it on this car. I think I only used an orange pad on a couple spots. Everything else was kid gloves.

From great to near perfect, I'll let the owner vouche if it was worth it. I think it was.

Hahaha

I tried to be nice and not mention the grease monkey stains.
Yup I drove Justin's 600rwhp pride and joy...Technically
Just firing it up behind the wheel and listening to the raw sound those D1's make is enough to make me want one.

Naw he was pretty good, although he got a little worried when we were talking about beer around 10AM, lol, hey it was hot out.

Yeah as mentioned before car looked great to begin with, but i mean if you go to some car dealerships, you can already tell cars arent really taken care of unless they are indoors which is rare. Yours came out looking brand new.
