If you have a car rental Skyline Drive is pretty cool to visit.

Go to a Nationals game. Nice ballpark and the best team in baseball right now. Dulles Air and Space museum + see The Dark Knight Rises on their REAL imax screen (not the fake ones found at every local theater now). If you like to gamble, Hollywood Casino in WV is an hour away. Great Falls is a nice national park if your up for a hike and its right along the beltway. Take a train up to Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Ocean City is a couple hours away and is awesome for a day trip. Adventure Park in MD seems real cool, although I have yet to go. Check out the Washington Posts website, im sure they have some sort of guide for tourists.

If you have an iPhone or iPad, be careful using it in D.C. or you'll be chasing some punk who will ****** it from you in broad day light. Also strip clubs in Va are a waste of time. Make your way to DC, MD, or WV if that's your thing.

Hard Times wings and chili. Nothing else is important.

In downtown DC, Metro is best; just be careful not to end up in the wrong part of town.

Tomorrow Night, 8/18
If the weather is good and you have a car, make your way up to Marley Station Mall in Glen Burnie, MD. It's about an hour drive with traffic. Saturday nights there is a classic car cruise there that will blow you away. There are on average 400-500 cars there, all with historic tags (pre-92). Classic Muscle, trucks, old imports, race cars, you name it and it's there. The cruise goes from 5-10pm. Also Ann's Dari-cream at the end of the parking lot is a local dive that's famous for their fried foot long hot dogs. I'm usually there with my dad and his '89 Iroc-Z.

Since you'll be mostly downtown, check out the obligatory museums and monuments. I'd certainly suggest the spy museum. The zoo is pretty cool, too. If you happen to have time, head out to Dulles to the Air & Space museum (as mentioned above).

Just stay away from SE part of the city.

If you're with a significant other, shopping in Tysons is always a good way to waste money.
