Raceway Park, Englishtown, NJ Hey guys i wanted to see if any of u wanted to meet up at e-town on a sunday in november or early december for some drag racing fun. The only 4 sundays that they are open for racing are Nov 4th, 11th, 25th, and Dec 2nd. Ill be going down there two of those 4 weeks. Weather may play a role in which weeks I so I figured Id see if anyone else wants to join me. Always fun to have other ls1 guys there. We can get the dates more set in stone in the next couple weeks when we know the forecast.

Why not go Nov 3 for the Big 3 Shootout!! The Muscle Bracket is open to all US muscle cars. Lots of LS cars will be there!! Hard to believe that my 99 Z28 is in the Classic Muscle class, but time flies when you're having fun!!! Hope to see you there!!

Tell Dave he better step up his game, from what I hear you're not to far behind him!!! If everything goes well I'll be there. A friend wants me to go to Cecil Co. for the Yellow Bullet race. Probably some heavy hitters there and I know my RT is off, so I'm going to E-town! See you there!! Larry

i really hope englishtown gets power back for next weekend tho! next sunday is street wars. Muscle vs evo vs sti. even more important i hope there is no snow on the track! haha

Well, they were closed the first two weeks of the month from the storm and last week there was no racing because of that tough mudder crap where people run around and jump in the mud like pigs but finally this weekend they are back open so ill be going on Sunday for the street wars. domestic vs import so it should be fun. anyone wanna meet up that day?

im hoping to hit 11s for the first time. havent gone to the track since i got the stage 3 head porting by AI, 226/230 cam, 3600 stall, and 26x11.5 et streets.
last time i was on the same 243 heads but they werent ported, i had the stock stall, stock cam with 1.85 rockers, and i was on 315 bfg drag radials and ran a 12.50@113mph with a 1.9 60ft.
not sure what to expect this time but im hoping the extra 50 rwhp, the converter, and the lighter rear wheels and tires will get me mid 11s at 120mph

did u guys end up goin? i was more than halfway there i was by the meadowlands when i hit a medium sized bump and the car stumbled and the engine light came on. Then every little bump in the road and the car would stumble as if it had a loose connection somewhere. I had to turn around. I made it home but it was a scary ride. Not sure what I am going to do now

i am getting 3 codes. P1635, P0530, P0107. they all seem to be tied into the 5 volt circuit. i dont have a multimeter or anything and never actually used one but knowing that all three of these codes are popping up and the symptoms occuring, anyone know what it can be coming from?

Sorry to here about the problems but you didn't miss much, except freezing your *** off and a marathon day! They stopped selling tech cards at 11am and supposedly around 400 race cars were there. Track was cold and traction was an issue for some. 1st round didn't start until 5pm, definately having second thoughts on the ricer events!! Can't help with the codes but like you said its probably a lose connection. Good luck with the repair! Larry
