Relocating to Ft. Belvoir -- where to live? I've been at Homestead Air Reserve Base all year and now relocating to Fort Belvoir, VA. I want to be relatively close to the base, especially with a prego wife. I have a brother who lives in Bethesda and wants me to live up that way but no way in hell am I going to commute that far each day in that traffic with me working some 12 hour days. Our budget is around $1500/month before utilities and so on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Dude... Good Luck. The whole area around Belvoir is a dump and the housing is outrageous.
I would live in Manassas. It's the nicest area that's affordable and isn't THAT murderous of a commute.
