Hi,
I moved up from Memphis, TN this month to Jessup/Columbia, MD. The corvette stayed down there at my parents house and I would love to bring the car up here, but I have nowhere to store it. Every place I go to is either too expensive or not available. Any suggestions on places?
Also, is there any car meets or events around the area that I can go to meet some people?
Thanks for the help.

Can't help with storage but I can with the events. Best car meet you can bring late model stuff to is the cars and coffee in Hunt Valley, MD.(aka Hunt Valley Horsepower) It's every Saturday morning from dawn til about 10am at Hunt Valley Towne Center. You'll see everything from classic muscle to tuners to Italian exotics.
There's another good one closer to you every Saturday night at Marley Station mall in Glen Burnie, but they only allow historic (20 years old +) to actually park on the cruise lot. Still a good cruise to just wander around. Draws 300+ cars on a good weather night.
Then as for racing, the closest place to you is Capital Raceway. It's a 1/4 mile strip.
Also if you're free the weekend of Oct. 10-12, I'd highly recommend making the trip down to Ocean City, MD for the endless summer cruise weekend at the beach.

Friday nights there is one in Montgomery county(location moves around when morons get us kicked out of places)
Endless Summer Cruisin is the BIGGEST and best in teh area.
