Default Any reputable transmission builders on east coast?

Hey guys I'm looking to see if anyone knows of a reputable trans builder on the east coast, the 4l60e in my 00 camaro is on its way out starting to slip pretty bad in first and will bounce off the rev limiter at wot. Can't seem to find any one who as experience with performance trans building with our cars near me ( I'm in upstate ny) any help would be appreciated.

another plus for performabuilt,,, just order it and have it shipped to you, Had mine for over 7 years now, had the pan off 1.5 years ago to change the filter and there was no clutch film on the bottom of the pan, actually thought i would see a little bit but nothing... check them out on facebook https://www.facebook.com/performabuilt.transmissions

X2 very satisfied with my CPT "pro race" 60e in my '00 Camaro. Frank also got me a good deal on a pro torque TC.

Another vote for cpt. Had my trans built by a no name guy from de/md and I was scammed. Cpt took it apart, showed me part for part in detail how I was scammed and showed me what he uses and why he uses it. So far it's lasted longer than my last 3 trans. Next year will be the true test but so far I'm happy.

A1 transmission in glen Burnie, Danny ( the owner ) has about 35 years in building transmissions. He built the trans in my grand national a few years ago, best feeling auto trans I've ever driven!

When I'm ready to build the trans in my camaro I'll be taking it to him as well.

I tell everyone about him, he's the best in my area hands down!
