For those of you that had not heard yet, Ken Henderson (aka: 'Kenny H' on all of the boards), one of 'the originals' from that early 2000s 'LS1.com and LS1Tech.com era' of local LSx racing has passed away WAY too soon.
After talking on the boards/online from time to time for quite a few months prior, I'd first actually met Kenny and his red '98 Formula in early 2001 and we became good friends immediately...as many people who were fortunate enough to meet him did.
He'd moved down to North Carolina in 2004/2005 and we weren't quite as close over those years but we'd still talked online a few times a year since.
So VERY sad to learn of his passing and I had just wanted to share it with the LSx community that had so awesomely helped bring us all together so many years ago.
R.I.P. brother.

wow,this is sad.
i only met him once but it was a fun experience a long with meeting other members at his home.
that was great of him to invite me and i hope the rest of his friends and family are getting over his loss together.
man, stuff like this reminds me to enjoy life everyday and take nothing for granted.
if theres any details you can share please do.
anything online we can reply to giving our last respects?

I can't even count how many 'car guys' (usually F-body or Mustang people) we'd met out on Route 37 during cruises that he ended up inviting back to the house to hang or for a BBQ.
I remember one night when you were out there with us all. I think it was the little Wawa/pizza shop (not the newer Super Wawa up the road) and you were in the SS, before you'd even gotten the GTO I think.

Definitely not as much as I used to. I went almost every other weekend between 2008 and 2012, competing for points in the Corvette Challenge Series and even went to some 'away' races in St. Louis and Indianapolis but now haven't made a pass since December 2014. I go to some private track rentals and select events but it's mostly to spectate now.
