Default Just picked up an 03' Z06

Hey folks!! I'm not new to LS1Tech, as I used to frequent the NorthWestern section quite a bit. Before I moved here to Maryland, I lived in Washington state and I used to own a 2000 C5 which I modded pretty heavily. It ran a best 10.7 @ 130mph in the 1/4, but I sold her in 2007 because I wanted to do the family thing.

Well, last month I told the wife how much I missed my Vette and racing and she agreed to let me get another one next summer. However, my buddy who works at a dealership told me about this silver 03' Z06 that they got in. I went to take a look at it, and it was super clean. One owner, 19,053 original miles, and stock/never modded. He talked to the owner and got it for me out the door for $22k. There was no way I could pass that up.. so now with the blessing from my beautiful wife and cool a$$ friend, I got a sweet new Z06 back in the garage!!

Now all I need to do is come up with a good name for her.

Killer deal, car looks great, nicely done! My '03 Z has been my favorite car to date, I'm sure you will love it.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm super excited.. I'm really eager to add some long tubes and a good intake manifold but I have to wait to pull in some extra cash first.

I hear you, the Vette tax doesn't help any. When I did long tubes, vararam and tune it really woke up the car. Not quite as loud as I would like but the sound of headers with the stock titanium exhaust is pretty awesome.

Man, I bet it sounds awesome! I'm keeping the stock titanium exhaust on the car. I've read its a really good system and obviously very light.

Congrats on the new ride..I have 2002 z06 puts smile on my face everytime I drive it.I would keep the stock titianium mufflers,Get some long tubes with a x pipe thats it.I would get the mgw shifter best mod I have done to car,I also put the tick master clutch in it at the same time. These car have a tendency under spirted driving to have pedal stick to floor.
