New Best...My Quest for 9s
Went to the infamous (and my first time) No Dam Excuses rental at MIR last week...
I'm still learning the car and need alot of work on my launching technique....
I have owned the car for a year now and have been to the track 3 times and each time I have added more power..... starting at 530 then 630 and now currently 680
anyway here is my best pass
60'... 1.760
330.. 4.573
1/8... 6.842
MPH.. 107.83
1000... 8.793
1/4..... 10.408
MPH... 140.72
DA 400'
temp 68*
With MORE seat time and with (what I feel) a 1.50-1.55 60' I think a 9.9 is very possible

The initial launch seems to be the problem I will send you the videos I took and you will see it. I can't believe with all that power it stumbles at the clutch release. Had a great time thanks.

thanks Lanse! and like Gary said, I'm launching the bias plys as if i was launching on Drag radials, on the clutch too long.... I feel that my last pass when the belt broke because of the alternator pulley, it would have been a 10.2 or 10.3 pass... as I had a lower 60' and 1/8 mile
on the plus side I did run a 141 mph peddling the car....the bias ply sway is very nerve racking to say the least

went to a rental in dec, switched to slicks... got a new best mph of 141...in and out of throttle, due to the tires walking....
but the car is now under the knife removing the SC kit and Twins are being installed
and I'm going back to a DR
