Default LRB Performance Machine Shop Franklin NJ

Anyone on here use LRB Performance Machine Shop? I can't find any reviews on them. I am looking to get my LQ4 shortblock rebuilt. I would like to use them since they are only a 1/2 hour from me.

Thanks Joe

If you can't find any suitable reviews for that shop, I'd recommend

D&F Performance in Berlin NJ.

LRB did the machine work on my big block and built my friend's blown alcohol motor. Lou is a good guy to deal with and there was plenty of LS stuff in his shop when I was there.

Well i just called them and they wanted $3000 for my LQ4 shortblock rebuild. Almost triple the price of others. I will try precision in Middletown ny.

OMG NOOOOOO! don't go there! I live in the area and have a friend as well as others who have had bad experiences. Call Bill Ceralli Competition Engines in Paterson NJ. Awesome guy to work with and has been at it for years! Been in magazines, if that carries any weight with you. If not, doesn’t matter, he's not just an average rebuilder of stock engines and the occasional performance engine. He specializes in performance! Not the cheapest but the highest quality in the area. Let me know if you need the number.

I was in the same boat. I was looking for someone to rebuild my LS1.I got fed up and bought a new 383 from TSP for a little more money than my rebuild was going to cost plus they had it to me in less than 5 days. And I ended up with all new parts.

I decided to go to westchester auto machine shop. Heard good things from CamaroAl who has used them. Precision didn't want the job and the engine shop in Middletown ny didn't seem to know to much about LS motors.

Dropped my LQ4 shortblock off at Westchester Machine. Will is a real nice guy and he has a few LS blocks he is working on including a stroked LS2 supercharged motor. I will let you know how it goes when i pickup my engine.
