Thats understandable. With tech being more of the fbody crowd and now you have a vette you can look down on us. In all seriousness though I think tech is starting down the same road as ls1.com. There hasnt been much real tech posted on here in quite a while now. And to get real answers for anything through searching the forums I look for dates from 2010 and older. All the newer threads is a bunch of he said she said crap and nut swingers that say the same thing to every question. There is good info to be found though even on corvette forum but you have to be willing to dig back through to find it.

I have to say, even though the Vette has well over 100 rwhp more than the SS had, I do miss the SS. I sold it last summer.

There just isn't any real corvette sections here, especially for the c6 & c7.

I think I am at 10 years but my first account had issues and remember creating an account a year later because I could never post pics with it.

Remember what this page was like 10 years ago?

There were several sections I remember if you posted in it your thread would be burried in about 30 minutes. Sucks it's not what it used to be.

Part of me wonders how much facebook groups are hurting this page, which alot of what I see in those groups is absolute crap anyway and alot of the people posting are just full of it. When these cars got cheaper the quality of buyers went with it

Cheers to you guys though for being here so long

The Facebook groups are hurting all of the forums. Since people have never been concerned with searching and are more concerned with hearing themselves fart, Facebook is the perfect medium for them. Where they would get ridiculed on forums, they get handjobs on Facebook. A typical FB group discussion goes something along the lines of:

"Sup Camarbros. Mah car wont start. Any1 else have that problem? Pic for attention. Hue hue hue hue."

"Nice car. Here's mine."

"Mine."

"Mine's red."

"Saw the word 'start.' Pic of my starter."

"I HAVE A BLUE ONE!!!!111!!!11!!!"

"Rawr! Pic of my car! Starts Fine!"

Thumbs up

This November will be 16 years on this site for me, I believe I was the 287th original member to sign on here. And I still have my Z28 (next January will be 18 years) as well.

Yeah, 12 years now!!! I joined after I wrecked my f-body!!! I joined owning an STi and still chatted about my 4th gen. Had to buy another 4th gen after doing the import stuff. I could have bought a vette, but like most I needed a SS or TA again. LOL
