Default Machine shops in CT

Any good machine shops in ct or any sponsors nearby? Got ahold of a rebuilt lq motor with wiseco flats. It looks pretty. But who knows how it was put together. It is supposedly ready for build but would be nice if it were somehow possible to have it looked over. I know shops don't like to mess with stuff they didn't assemble....is this possible? Anyone nearby to call and ask?

I called one place and they told me only thing they could do is tear it down and redo it. I wonder of they'll have anything different to say.
