I recently picked up a new Formula, it's a bone stock 97 with only 20k miles on it. The car has been babied its' entire life. I plan to have a small amount of engine work done on it before car season this spring:

- LE1 Ported Heads and Custom Cam from Lloyd Elliott
- Shorty Headers

Because the car is still in showroom condition, I'm looking for a mechanic that will do a good job of tearing it down and putting it all back together, and take really good care of it while they work on it.

I'm in upstate NY, looking for someone in the Rochester to Syracuse area. Any suggestions or advice? Thanks!

If it were me I would talk to Mike at New Era performance in Rochester.

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately, New Era told me they won't touch an LT1 car. Any other thoughts?
