Any car meets or street racing in the dc/md area

I've lived in southern md for a long time but it seems car meets and street racing is a thing of the past around my way. Does any one know of any meets any where around the dc metro/md area?

I know it's a bit of a drive, but when the weather gets nice cars show up in the McKays shopping center in Leonardtown every Wednesday after work. It doesn't start until close to summer. The crowd is primarily older Corvette owners with lawn chairs but there is often a good mix of cruisers, old muscle, and modern muscle cars.

There's little to no racing that I know of. The DC / SOMD area has grown too much for it and the fatalities that happened a few years ago when idiots were on the road watching racing in PG County helped lower the tolerance for any shenanigans.

Your talking about the accident on 210. I was there that night, **** was crazy. I was talking to an old buddy yesterday and he said they still meet up and race on 214. You guys know anything about that?

I used to race in bmore on northern parkway years ago in my turbo Honda days. 10 sec cars on the street should make for some good racing though. I'm gonna have too look into that. Where are you out of Kurazy?

Yea I'd really like to meet with some of the local ls guys. Seems like all the people down here are still messing with carbureted small/ big block stuff. Not that there's anything wrong with that lol

If you're ever in Fredericksburg, there is a decent amount down here. I'm not too much on it though. Seen a lot of bad things happen.

LP still kicking after all these years? Last time I was down there I was running a stalled 99 TA. That was back in 2000 lol.
