Question DEZ Racing?!?!?

Anyone know if Mike changed the number there or if he is having phone problems? I have been trying to call all day and the phone is continuously busy. I just have a quick question about a Mass Air conversion on a fox body......anyone know what's going on?

LOL there's something up with the phone......Marco I was looking to see if he could get the Mass Air Flow kits. I was considering buying a speed density car, and was pricing a few things before doing so. Still haven't been able to get a hold of Mike though and I refuse to call CD Performance!

86-87 Fuel Injected Stangs didn't use Mass Air Meters. IMO opinion cars equipped with MAF's are easier to tune and tend to run a bit better than the cars w/o. Hence why I was looking to make the swap right away.

Its another type of air metering. The 93 f-bodies use it and just about all Chryslers use it.

Do not buy a Speed Density car, go with the mass air flow if you can, alot easier to deal with...your best bet is checking the classifieds and finding a mass air conversion....pretty pricey to buy the kits

Yeah I know the FMS kits are stupid money, but I figured maybe Mike had some stock stuff kicking around he could sell off. I am still looking for a car though so hopefully I find something with Mass Air already installed, either that or just look for a 89-93 that is factory equipped. Chances of finding an 88 Cali. car around here are pretty slim

Yeah but unfortunately I had way too many plans and not enough money to back them up. That's why I am going back to Stangs.....I know them and parts are a helluva lot cheaper. I have a few in mind right now, just have to see how things pan out. The SS was bad-*** but it wasn't really "my" car. Everyone knew it as DIESO's and even the asthetic changes I made didn't set it apart.......time for me to live up to my screen name

I honestly wish I could of kept both car. Even after the first couple of days until now I still cant make up my mind as to which car I prefer. That was the first sports car I had, I'm happy with the GTO and I'm sure it'll be as fast or faster with the supercharger, it rides nice, it's comfortable but I'll always like the SS. Now I really miss the car.

Joe, when you open the GTO hood and see how much more accessability you have to the engine than you did w/the SS, it should be easy to pick the favorite--at least when you're gonna change plugs, etc.... WJ
