Yea, Island dragway is your best bet. I live in rockland and it's about 70 miles from me.

Thanks guys for your help. And seems like the clostest track for me is 77 miles away, but it has week end events GGGRRR. Gotta find some time during the weeks, hopefully at least once a month.

I think your thinking of ATCO. Island is open on fri,sat,and sunday. E-town is open on wednesdays

yes you are right i am thinking of atco. i have only raced at atco before but i personally know the family that owns island dragway, they are fbody enthusiasts and i plan on going there soon. they are only open fri-sun

Atco is the quickest track around because of how close they are to sea level and it is also the best hooking track. You will run your quickest time there then any other track in NY. But........ they are the farthest away for most of us. It's a 3 hour drive one way for me

ATCO is about 115 miles away from me, which is about 2 hours. Island is about 77 miles away. Would you say its worth the extra distance?

atco is 2 tenths quicker than island without touching your car.

maybe a tenth at most man because of elevation and another tenth or two from the stickyness. so yeah atco is cool

Thanks guys for the all the help. And they should really make a track near this area, most street raceing takes place around, so if we had an area to race that wouldn't happen, well it still would lol.
