Default My truck is off to Turbo-Zone!!!

Well, I wasn't intending to send my truck 5hrs away to NY, I was having all the work done in RI by a non sponsor who will remain nameless. The truck has been sitting in RI since April 28th collecting dust. I finally got fed up and decided to ship it off to John at Turbo-Zone to let him do the whole project.

I'm having a great day as you can tell by the 2 threads I started here in the last 5min. lol

I should have listened to you in the first place. Actually, I've learned not believe anyone anymore. I am very, very serious about scrapping the entire turbo project and just running NA.

When this is all done I'm gonna start a thread on how much all of this **** ACTUALLY costs. So look for that thread sometime in 2008.

Dan - your Dyno will be included in the build so you can see the numbers, along with a video tape of the event. You worry like a girl who is pregnant for the first time.

Give me a call today, I ventured into the realm of "lost build sheets" and "lost engine t-shirts".

Dan, I'm home now, I'll give you a call in a few minutes.

Oh ya, after labor charges - ONE MILLION DOLLARS. (insert austin powers reference)

Going fast or making gobs of power isn't cheap.

Good news, good ******* news.

Just kidding. No news at all.

wow, I miss my god damn truck. No offense to any of the parties involved in the build. but this is just ******* bullshit. I should have bought the ******* whipple. The truck would have been done a month ago. Oh well, live and learn.

just figured i'd keep everyone up to date on the progress. the 6.0L was pulled, i spent $500 on a ati superdamper and another $500 on a methanol kit. that's it. no more news/progress.

Anyone wanna buy a big friggin pile of parts? or a truck with no engine?

yeah, i ordered my engine on december 5th. I got it around April 20th. I hurried up and dropped my truck off at SDCE so they could do the install the first week of may. It sat there for 3 weeks and they didn't touch it. Now, it's been in NY at Turbo-Zone since May 18th.

not bashing, just stating the facts. I'm sure it's gonna be sick when it's done.

Hey Dan - I promised pics and here are a few of the stuff I was telling you about.
Oh yes, the date is close but actually we went through the NYS toll booth here in Syracuse at 4:19 a.m. on May 26th and arrived home at 5:00 a.m. That was a loooooong night!

This is of the intake elbow, that came directly from SDCE hands to mine, that has the stripped hole. Nice way of I.E.com to deliver a product.

Here is a pic of the engine with Nasty vlv. covers:

Here is a full pic of all the hundreds of bolts that come off the motor all nicely cleaned & organized:

Pic of your motor with the stock vlv. covers...eh, we can polish them up a little more.

Pic of the cigarette ashes we found in the valve-train. Not sure who did this but when it was unwrapped and it was looked over this is what we found. NOT VERY HAPPY about this and very unprofessional to whomever did it:

That's it, I'll send more pics as we progress. We're working hard to get it done. Thanks for being patient Dan - it will be one fast and nasty truck after.
