So i swap cars with a GOOD friend of mine for the weekend cus i went to the K&N Supernationals at ETOWN this weekend i go fri-sun, and i asked my buddy if i could swap cars with him as his car is a auto/4cyl and i figured it would be alot better to use then my m6 H/C car as the traffic is usually brutal and gas prices are crazy. So i swap with him thurs nite and leave fri AM from work to go to the track, so i had told him not to KILL the car, i know he would have some fun with it which was fine, just dont really beat it ya know , so i am sitting in the stands on Sat, the Kerminator was there as i had a extra ticket and he came, and my cell rings, i look at the caller ID and see my buddys name and figure oh boy here we go and sure as **** i get the "I was just driving it, and it started making ALOT of noise from the rear and now wont move" so i was like hmm just driving it yea right, well he tells me the noise and i tell him it sounds like the 10 bolt has finally met its maker *this rear has been making ALOT of noise for along time* just havent had time off from work to have the MOSER 9 installed, so i tell him to call a friend of mine and have him go get my trailor and load it up and bring it to his house and i will get it to the shop when get home.
so i get home from etown at 845pm, head to where my car is borrow a truck and tow it to ESP, by the time i get the car to the shop, trailor back to where i store it, truck returned, its now 12am and i head home to go to bed and get up for work at 5am so now i am sunburned from the killer heat this weekend, tired from the weekend activities and now only a few hours sleep, and my good buddy blew the rear in my car, and now its MONDAY what a way to start the week

and this is why ya dont let your friends use your Ls1, next year i will just rent a car

You kinda got what you deserved on that... but on the other hand, at least the rear will finally get in the car, like it should have 3 months ago!

Hell, my garage will be done probably by the end of the week, if you hadn't gotten it in yet, I was gonna tell ya to bring it over so we could christen the thing.

yea i knew the rear was on its last leg but its been that way for like 2 years...LOL

once the rear goes in its time for some trips to the track,
i will order my guages for the NX this week so that can get finished up so i can spray the car, i am VERY curious to feel how the NX hits with my set up as i have never driven a NOS car

well its always unfortunate to have your car go down, considering the fact that its ur DD. but on the plus side at least u finally will get that 9 inch in nitrous is a great thing, but ud be surprised how fast that bottle goes dry to tell ya the truth the only difference i noticed with it on my car was how hard the bitch pulled out of the hole. but hell what do i know i only run a baby 100 shot, and with a stalled auto it all feels the same anyway....

since the rear was a ticking time bomb anyways, its not necessarily his fault. hope you didn't take it too hard on him. but like the others say, it gives you incentive to upgrade the car... which is always a good thing!

not me, with 10 full bottles at all times, and 150 pounds in the garage with a filling station as back up, there will be no dry spell in any of my cars with spray

ya once i get my car over here i gotta find a station to fill my ****... actually im not even sure if its legal to have it in my car on the road even if its not on here..... hell with it, odds are they wont even let me have a car. how gay is it that even though we drive our patrol cars like between 100 to 300 kilometers a night, but we cant own vehicles ourselves.... gay
