IAC acting up???
has anyone ever had their IAC sensor go bad on their throttle body?? my car runs ok when you first drive it around, but later down the road the rpm starts sticking at 1500-2100 at a stop.... had the car tuned today that didnt solve the problem... i heard that cleaning the sensor itself with carb choke would fix this problem due to all the carbon build up on the sensor... i tried alcohol but that didnt work... any feedback would be cool

Hey,
I don't know about the LS cars, but I have replaced several IAC's on my Lightning. Usually you can clean them once or twice, then they just need to be replaced. About 60 bucks for my truck.
