YOU MISSED IT: Matt vs. Alex!!! Finally after two years of message board whoring, etc. we finally got to line up. Of course only once. Alex was off on his times as he went a 10.48 that night later on and I went a 10.47 later on also.
I will post the slip tomorrow but I think we both went a 20 light.
Kerminator:
10.49 @ 127
Alex:
10.61 @ 129 or 130?
And the win goes to the kerminator.
Raceweight today with me in it was 3176. I believe alex stated he was like 3268.
Great race. Everyone was cheering, etc. Awesome to line up. We lined up again but Alex got hosed on a redlight then hit brakes and I launched with barely a burnout and almost went into the wall.
It was the funnest race I have had so far in this car. Props to alex for his gear rowing!
Let's do it again soon...

That had to be the best heads up, well matched race I have ever seen!
Two of the the Premier heads/cam F-Bodys pulling the wheels out of the hole, Alex bangin' the gears.. Matt coaxing the Kerminator to stay in the groove.. Alex back about 1 car length and running down Matt.. but the 1320' finish line came first. These two cars were the crowd favorites.. bar none!
Yup- it sure was a hoot seeing this play out, after hundreds of posts and scenarios.
Congrats Matt on the win, and Congrats to Alex for making it a real drag race!

Hell.. I didn't even know I was going to the track.. I stopped by TTP to pick up the wheels for my Cobra, and the next thing I know- E-Town was the next stop!

Sounds like it was a fun time...but no real surprises..the A3 out ET'd teh M6 and teh M6 out MPH'ed teh A3.
And yes Amex is a cooler guy in person then on the interweb
