FS, 1997 Explorer Eddie Bauer, $4800 obo.
I'm getting a new daily driver, so the explorer is up for sale for $4800 obo.
It's got 120k miles on it, but it is excellant condition. It's the 4.0L, SOHC with the 5 speed automatic transmission. It is AWD / 4WD with the stabilitrac option. There are a couple nicks and dings, but overall the paint is a 8.5/10. Mechanically it is in great condition. I bought it with 80k miles on it, and have since replaced / changed the following:
New shocks (4) @ 100k.
New starter @ 115k.
New wheels/tires (factory size 16x8, 255/65/16) @ 110k.
Complete tuneup including wires, plugs, air filter, transmission fluid change and filter, fuel filter, all three differential fluids changed, new fan belt, new front break pads @ 100k.
A/C system was checked as well and didn't need any charging. It is still ice cold and has no leaks.
I replaced the headlight housings as well @ 100k because they were oxidized and scratched.
Regular oil / filter change by me every 3000-4000 miles.
It is blue and tan, and will post pictures later today. The interior is in excellant condtion, again about 8.5/10. Everything works fine, and is really nice for being ten years old. Only reason we are getting rid of it is because I got a killer deal on a 06 leftover Saab 9-3. Since my wife already has an SUV, there was really no need to have two.
I'm located about 30 minutes north of Philly if people are interested.
Edit, here's some pictures. It's still for sale, with a lower price.
