Matt if you can run close to your best you might not be too bad off. It is a 16 car qualified field so unless there are more than 16 cars you will get in.
I will have to see how it goes for me. If I am close to 10.5 I think I will go in 10.0 class instead of 11.

I have a brand new set of slicks on now and went up to a 30" tall radial slick. I am not sure how the car will react that is why Im going down for the first session to get a few passes in.

A well run and fun event, had a great time ...thanks again Edgar and thanks to Anonymous for helping me out as well.
Anyone interested in this style of racing (heads up) should really come out and give it a shot, it's real racing and very competitive but even with a slightly slower car the smarter/more strategic driver can still win.

We will give you more details but I wanted to let everyone know who our winners are.
In 12.0 EZ2PLZ (spelling) Steve Grunick took the top sport but Corvette Racer Eric Fisher took the win in a double breakout match over Bob Caiati. 13 racers made the class
In 11.0 it was Jerry Muniz in a Nitrous Corvette over yours truly when I too the stripe by .03 but went under with a 10.988 to his 11.01. Muniz took out number 1 qualifier Paul Sanseverino to get to the final. 7 racers came out to the 11.0 index
In 10.0 was another all Corvette final and David Shen defeated Chris Young going 10.037 to Chris Young's 10.071 (Young was the number 1 qualifier) . 14 racers made it out to the 10.0
