Default Matts first dyno

And probly last since we are for track times
The pull here is in 3rd gear, unlocked converter,8-10lbs of boost,10 degree's of timing, 4L80 tranny,4.11 gears, straight 93 octain,no tuning on the dyno. It pretty much went through the tranny setup mostly due to the low gears and we had to start at 4k rpm to keep it from downshifting.

Made decent power

nothing wrong with that... for a pump gas tune that's making really good power!

Not sure what the truck weigh's, or what is gonna be on it for a tire/suspension, but if it's track prepped right that should be a low 10 second to high 9 second truck once it's figured out.

What's the goal you're shooting for with it?

The plan is to go to the track and run just off the wastegate spring which is 5-7lbs.I'm sure this will net under 11.5 which will push Matt into a roll bar. Then we will slowly move up. No rush. I could of easilly locked the converter and pushed stupid HP #'s today but we don't want to be like those other guy's that gloat about a dyno # that runs crappy 1/4 times. We will run at the track and have fun.

Lets just say I have the tranny locking OD and you can full boost this thing at 3000rpm no problem on the highway.Makes Vette owners look stupid real fast when a 1500 truck put's bus lengths on them in seconds

very nice for a thirsty drivetrain just think when you actully put in the timing turn up the boost and spray the meth he's gonna need more than just the cage

Thanks Don for the quick dyno runs. I think that gaining 100+ rwhp and rwtq over the last setup is enough to keep me happy for awhile

Nice Pretty stout being unlocked though a heavy drivetrain. Just for conversation I'm willing to bet all things the same but locked you would of hit 700 or damn close.

If you can get that thing off the line it's got some 10's in it. Should be fun seeing a big *** truck trapping at 125mph.

The funny thing is that if this was a 6 speed truck that run would be well over 800rwhp at 8-10lbs. I did do a higher boost run but my dyno pickup lead screwed up. At 4500rpm it was alot higher than the #'s I posted then it quit recording.

I can imagine 4k-5k it picks up 100hp starting at 500. The thing is a monster.
I'm sure 14ish lbs at the track and it will be pushing 1000.

Like you said though #'s don't mean jack **** on a stalled car.

Flash that bitch off the line and throw about 1,200 ftlb's at it and hold on.

800 rwhp through a stock t-56 = ticking time bomb. lol. Def those 4L80e (more or less a th400 with od) suck up some power but its going to take the abuse and cut a better time.

Great #'s
