QTP EFI Race #2 this saturday When is looking good for the QTP EFI Race Series #2 on saturday. Gates open at 12pm but i think they might let in a little early.
2 Radial Tire Bracket Classes
1 Slick Tire Bracket Class
and the most fun class
QUICK TIME 8 LSX Heads Up Class.
In the race #1 the winner was not the fastest car of the lot
I will not be spraying because of the new Mini Stroker Motor that is in the car.
Should be a good time. I also believe on staurday is the Corvette Challenge and the 10.0 Index class. Should be a good time. Hope to see all you guys and gals out racing and having fun!

We just didn't make it in time, had numerous problems. The longblock is built now, it's for the better anyways I didnt have the cage done so I would have to keep it above 9.99, what fun is that.

I have not broken into the 9's yet, the fastest I went was 10.35 with the stock bottom end motor. Now it's a 417ci motor with AFR 225 large bores about 11.3:1. Going with the ETP LS7s/LS7 intake and a whole bunch of compression around 14:1.
We had to grind down the front cover of the melling oil pump to fit, then had to retap the holes in the 6.2l block we got for the timing cover. Motor should be in today, trying to get the fuel system done tomorrow, trying to figure out how to mount this 5 gallon cell underneath the floor and still have access to fill the damn thing
I hope to be out on weds. night at etown and get thrown out for going 9's

Congrats to Tektrans for winning race #2 of the Quick Time 8 series. Nice job Mark! It's always a pleasure to hang out with you. It was nice of your brothers to stop down for the race also.
