Default Just got my dental implants put in

I had surgery at 8:30 this morning, took 2 hours. I had 5 implants put in. I didn't get pain meds until almost 3 hours later when i finally got home.

I don't recommend anyone go through this torture. I just hope I'm happy when its all said and done

ps: today cost me $9750 that is just to put the implant in. The next stage is attach the new teeth Thats gonna be $9850!!

I could have a mean ******* LS1 right now

Ugh, I watched the video on those and ran out of the office before it was over. Sorry to hear that, there is no pain like dental pain.

My GF is an RDA for a dentist who only does stuff like that and I have to hear about it all the time. It does not sound fun!

That sucks! You looked perfectly fine at the dyno day! You should have saved your money! Well I hope you get well soon. I bet all they'll show on TV will be food commercials too! That happened to me when I had stomach surgery!

I'd be eating my food through a straw...and driving one fast car instead.

That sucks man. Is insurance covering any of that?

probably will fall under "cosmetic surgery" Which insurance would most likely not cover!

WOW Probably wouldn`t go there again. Had 4 put in 2 years ago. Took about 2 hours and no pain was involved I was put under. I just hated using the bridge until the bone healed to finnish the project. It was 2500.00 per implant and she was awsome no regrets beats bridge work. Change your surgeon.

Insurance does not cover any of it because its a cosmetic. You dont need nice teeth in their eyes.

Marcel, What you saw at the dyno day was a temporary partial. They pop in and out. The implant will give me a permanent fixture and look natural.

If you guys grew up like I did with no front teeth at all, you would put your teeth in front of the race cars too. It was an easy decision for me. Think about it, I'll be driving in my future Z06 and when a hot blonde smiles at me I can smile back

Ah I feel your pain man. I had two implants put in and it sucked bad. MIne only cost a little over $2500 a tooth if I remember correctly. Theyll be in there for the rest of your life though so you never have to worry about them again. Feel better soon.

My uncle had to have a bone-graph done before his implants went in. The total price of everything was well into 20K. I laugh when I see him, they took bone from his hip around his *** and put it into his mouth. That poor bastard had no teeth for about 6 months.
