I took 3rd today. Dinardo beat me by a car or a half a car. I was glad that I got that close to him. These 315's all around definitely help. I didn't think I'd be Gomes in the 2nd gen but I got the coin flip and took the inside and beat him. He's won a bunch of 1st place finishes in the past and beaten some champs in the past so I was pretty happy to get 3rd. I also beat Dinardo's son who has a really well set up car. Competition was tough this event, so it felt good to take 3rd!

does anybody ever make any contact in the spectator drags down your way? It seems like your car is pretty nice to be taking a chance at wrecking it all for a few hundred bucks.

The only contact there was at the last 3 spectator drag events that goes into last year was someone bumped into me I got a 4 inch crack in the driver side door. I hear other raceway spectator drags are like our enduro drag events. Someone brought a c6 vette, but had to go up against Artie's silver 3rd gen who is a veteran at the track, and old enough to be my dad too ( he told me that )

Al a it was good to meet you there. Looking forward to the July event.
