I only got a V6 Camaro though.. And its pretty much stock (a few bolt ons though..). Its not a racer like most of your guys cars are at New Era, which are bad ***! By the way, Everytime I see your guys cars at the shows, My jaw drops. When I get my SS or Trans Am in the future, I'm definately sending it to you guys. Back to the subject though.. If I can get my brother to go in his 96 Mustang (3.8L), I Might consider racing only because we both think we can beat eachother. That would probibly be the only chance I have at winning a race there . I think some of the members of RFBC might be heading up there too because they were talking about running their cars. Hope to see you guys there!

How many runs do you usually get at an event like this? Is it more/less crowded than the typical Friday test & tune? Is it all Mustangs? Or will there be a decent amount of Camaros/Firebirds?

I might be going...

You are guranteed 3 qualifying runs when you get into the moms program, which is like $4 more. You time trial when they call you up, which is usually every 40-50 min. You are required to run 2 of the 3 qualifying passes and then they take your best time and pair you with a mustang that runs very close to what you do. The only catch is that you cant go faster than 3 tenths of your best qualifier, so you cant sandbag. Its on a .400 pro tree where all three yellows flash once and its green. You have to get used to the program but it is very fun, they give out a lot of prizes and you get a chance to go home and say you smoked a bunch of mustangs. I think a bunch of people are rolling out of New Era between 4:30 and 5 to get a decent parking spot, and try and stay together.

Looks like I won't be able to make it down tonight. Looking forward to next week when I'll have the LS6 intake manifold finally installed. Also thinking about a New Era Performance tune because the heads/cam build-up will have to wait until next spring.
