Need to start thinking about new motor options... I need your help! Hey guys... oil burn has since turned into power loss... around 25-40 mph the car seems like it has no power... unless its a horrible tank of gas, I think we have some real problems.
I have to start thinking about a new motor. I would like to outline some brand new motors from various parts outfits such as GMperformanceparts and other retailers along with getting some information from private guys, for example East Side.
What companies have you used? I'm thinking about spending $5,000-$8,000 (+/- of course). What motors work the best? Anything you stay away from?
Any help would be great. I have a 2001 Camaro SS.
