stereotypical Eagles fan huh. love em when they do well, pick on Mcnabb when they arent doin so well. C'mon, if you cant see why Mcnabb hasnt performed to the capacity of a Peyton or Brady than i dont know what to tell you. all i can say is look at the 1 year where he finally had a #1 receiver and look at the pace he was on before he got hurt. he cant do it by himself and the Eagles have failed at getting someone there he could count on to catch the ball.

Sorry TNT.....but I just couldn't resist. You guys are getting a 1st class player. Shame on the Pats for not stepping up and paying him the $$, cause he surely will make them pay whenever the 2 teams meet..... WJ

Now they package Lito with a draft choice and get a wideout..
Now all the need is a pass rushing DE and maybe Dwight Clark from Indi

The hot rumor is Sheppard to AZ for Fitzgerald but right now it's just a lame rumor.

You're right he can't do it on his own and he can't keep his lunch down when it counts either!

It was the principle, he had a contract which was very lucrative up front. Yes he came back to play the hero but he had a contract. His agent is a scumbag and it seemed like the "reasons" to give T.O. more money changed on a weekly basis. First it was because the Super Bowl, then it was because of the salary he made that one year, blah blah blah.

It was handled poorly on everyone's part however Eagles management can rot in hell for not giving McNabb a solid #1 guy. It's no coincidence that he had a career year with a stud #1 receiver.

Doubtful. Sheppard would actually have to play in order to be better than him. Sheppard has missed a ton of games in the last 2yrs and a few BIG games. I'm a Gators fan so I support a former Gator but when you're injured every few games what is team supposed to do?

I'm just messing with ya. 'Zant' will be a good player for you guys.

What do you think the Eagles will do with Sheppard? Trade? Keep him and move him to right corner and Brown to safety? I think Sheppard is a good corner - when he plays.

Speaking of oft-injured former Gators, maybe Chad Jackson will finally make an impact this year.

I hope they keep Shepard and move Brown over to safety but thats doubtfull.
they are actually talkin to Clemens from oakland today who is a DE and a nice pass rusher. he will compliment Trent Cole on the other side of the line nicely.
and yes....they still need a Receiver. the Fitzgerald deal would be a blessing from god if that happens!!

Moving Brown to safety would be a bad move. Sheppard is unhappy with his contract. You bring in a guy(Samuel) that is making a ton more, Sheppard gets even more pissed off. He's going to want big money, big money he might deserve if he actually played more. I think the only way to deal with this is to move him. Clemens is rumored to sign today after a physical.

I want Fitzgerald!(in a heterosexual way )
