Considering selling my 2002 Z28 (Many Pictures)
I just took delivery of a new Corvette and while I love my Camaro I'm not sure it will get much use with the new vette in the garage. I'm not sure I'm going to sell it so please don't make offers I'm just trying to see what you guys think it may be worth.
The car is an 02 Z28 NBM 6 speed with 26,300 miles. The car is a former flood vehicle. The title is branded "flood". Fresh water got into the interior. The floors were wet and so were the seat bottoms. The car was stripped down to the steel and all new carpet and seat bottoms were put in back in Oct 2003. I have owned the car since that time. I put in a PRO 5.0 shifter,LSS, an original SS hood, SLP CAI, SLP lid, AMW catch can in blue, GMMG exhaust,Parbreak custom FRC's,polished Hotchkiss STB, all 4 clear corners,Whistler mod,Bo White TB, TomZ 18x9.5 C6 Z06 wheels, BFG KDW2's in 245 35 ZR18, drilled and slotted rotors, muffinbuster stainless badges, SLP SS grille with stainless/red boetie.
In addition the interior was gutted by me again in 2006 when I went all out on a new stereo install. the HU is an Alpine with 2 10" stealth sub boxes packed with JL audio 10W3v2 subs, 4 Focal CV165 coax speakers, 2 JL audio 1x250 class D amps and a JL 75 x 4 JL A/B amp. Also installed eDead on all floor/hatch areas but not the doors. absolutly no rust anywhere and it had been 2+ years since first repaired flood damage. Also replaced a bit viper antenna with an automatic Transam antenna. Antenna stays down unless AM/FM selected. The stereo sound quality is outstanding and the SPL's are significant. It stays clean far beyond my tolerence.
Car has never been dyno'd or taken to the track. babied since I owned it and kept in a garage never seeing rain in the 3+ years I've owned it. Never one issue other than a dead battery from sitting last year. I have changed the oil once a year always with GC 0W-30. The car gets maybe 1000 miles per year. Only ever driven in nice weather, Put away every winter. About 20 coats of Zaino. Front clip was blended and painted last year when SS hood was put on. Match is perfect. Front bumper near perfect Sail panel replaced at the same time SS hood and front was painted Backof sail primered properly to avoid future bubling. The original sail had minor bubling that you could see only under bright lights. Two tiny dings in quarters. These are invisible unless you sight down the panel in very bright light. couple of tiny scratches here and there but nothing you'd notice unless you were really looking hard for them. Hatch latch does not pop right like nearly all these cars. None of the standard fixes has corrected this. You must pull up to get it release. Plugs and wires changed out 3k miles ago.
Below are some pictures. If she were put up what do you think I can expect? As I said I'm not sure I want to sell it yet and I'm certainly not going to strip any parts off so please don't ask.

Flood title hurts it somewhat depending on who you sell it to. I myself have no problem buying salvaged cars because you actually do know what happened to the car in the past. I see so many cars go through auction that are clean title and absolutely massacred with bent frames and salt floods, but most likely the owner will never know. I sell alot of salvaged title cars and I never have problems with them, as long as they are fixed right to avoid future problems but people are are always skepticle, some won't even touch a salvage car. This car looks extremely clean and done nicely..bump for the seller and good luck with the sale! I say $14,500

Thanks guys.
I know the flood title hurts the car which is why I'm trying to get an idea of what you guys think it's worth. Book value means nothing with a branded title. The thing that is nice for me is that I work part time for the shop that did the work so I know it was done right and they actually bought the car from the auction specifically for me so they knew what I was looking for.
Keep the input coming please.
Oh and I'm not a seller at this time. I just want an idea of what it would be worth and then I will make up my mind on what to do.

Guys, no need to get nasty with each other. I know having a branded title of any type hurts resale. When I bought the car I knew this so it's no big surprise. I think what I am going to do is pull the stereo system out, sell that off and put back the factory system. I never cut any wires so reinstall should be easy. I will then probably leave the car covered in the extra spot in my garage with the battery tender hooked up. I have decided that I will not sell the car at this time.
Thanks for everyone's input.
