Default Need advice on emmisions in NJ

I plan on putting LT's on my car in the next few weeks and I know LT's are "off road" but most places will still pass you as long as you have cats. So my question is geared towards the y-pipe. How many of you in NJ are running ORY's without any problems going through inspection? I just can't see spending over twice as much for a catted y pipe over a non-catted one.

Well that's good you have two years. I'd just do the ORY if you don't mind the noise and potential attention from cops. Worst case scenario, in 2 years, find a private shop or just have someplace throw some bullet cats in the pipe.

Well that's the reason I got a magnaflow catback. I wanted something that wouldn't be too loud. Anyone running pacesetter LT's with an ORY and magnaflow catback in NJ?

I ran LT and ORY on my 383 LT1, it wasnt carzy loud. My LS1 has LT's and LM1. When I first put the headers on i ran an ORY and it was crazy loud for about 3 weeks. I bought some cats to put on and its still loud but not to bad. On the plus side, the car doesnt smell anymore. I wouldnt worry about inspection since you have 2 years left.
