I used a handheld Diablo tuner when i first got my converter a couple of years ago. You just need to play with the shift points until you are happy and set your gear ratio, tire size. I Believe each one is set for your car once you use it. I think they are around 300 dollars.

Yes i am on borrowed time on the 10bolt. I do not have numbers yet this year on the new setup. I added about 100hp since last year. I was running in the Heavy class 7.8-7.9 most of the year without headers, stock intake, cam last year. I'll post new numbers soon. We are supposed to test this Saturday, but it is going to be raining they say. I can't wait.

We got rained out at Lancaster today for testing. It is probobly better off since they just poured 300ft out concrete recently. It will give it more time to cure. I'll get up to NYSI sometime this year. I want to get some 1/4 mile times.

Are you talking **** again? Alot of tunes, please name one? Chuck (Firehawk853) is probably one of the best Gen III tuners in the WNY area. The proof is in the pudding (2 750+ rwhp cars)

you moron. mike himself has publicly stated several times that chucks STREET TUNES have all been within 5hp across the board of mikes DYNO TUNES....

but you're right, my 900rwhp car that chuck street tuned drives like COMPLETE **** when i go to pick up groceries (sarcasm, i know you get confused sometimes)

mike's a great tuner, i'm not taking anything away from him, but saying **** like that is lame

Sorry about resurecting a 12 yr old thread.. called new era and they basically told me they order crate engines and trans and swap parts.. very disappointed. The answer was pretty close to, "we don't take things apart beyond major components"

Just a FYI. New Era Performance is under new ownership now and I'm unsure of what changes they've implemented in their business model. The original owner, Mike Frumusa, started a new shop in Rochester called Frumusa Performance. I'd give Mike a call.
