Default NEPA F Body Cruise October 4th

We have been talking about a cruise before the winter weather hits us and the weather looks good for this weekend so here is where and when I would like the meet to be.

We will meet up in Wilkes-Barre's Wyoming Valley Mall (right off of Highway 81) on October 4th around Noon and take a cruise down route 309 North to Dallas and then into Harveys Lake (It is about a 20 minute drive there). We will circle the lake and end up for a bite to eat and some drinks at Gorotto Pizza.

If any of you have never been to Harvey's Lake it is a real nice shoreline drive all the way around. Here are the directions to Wilkes-Barre and a link to information on the lake. I hope to see a big turnout!

I'm in. Weather looks good.

I have one question though. Will there be any issue with staying together on that portion of 309? I'm trying to picture it in my head. I can't remember if there's traffic lights on the route you are intending. Our group travels together a lot and I know that we try to plan routes avoiding traffic lights as much as possible.

309 is double lane untill it turns into memorial highway 415. Even then there is maybe two lights that you have to go through single lane. There is really no better route to get through dallas than that.

Damn, this is a nice drive up there from me. I have WAY too much going on that day to consider it though. Birthday party, wedding reception, AND a concert.

Ok, you refreshed my memory. Yes, that would be the best route and Dallas shouldn't be too bad. I'll see you guys on Saturday. I'm sure I'll be able to talk a couple of the guys from down our way to ride up with me.

I have been telling everyone around 12 so im sure we will hang out and wait there for others until 1 or so. Just wanted to know around how many should we expect so we dont leave anyone there and how many tables to reserve at Gorotto Pizza. Im going up to the mall to check out a good spot and I will let you know what store we will meet by.

Ok guys, we are reserved at Grotto for saturday! I spoke to the manager and she gave me a few options for the food setup. We could do all you can eat pizza and wings for $12.95 per person, that includes any drinks besides alchohol. We could do seperate checks , although that would be tough for them. Let me know what you guys think ASAP! IMO I would go with the buffet, but i eat like a fat a$$!

Second, the location is going to be in the parking lot between Sears and the Movie Cinema closest to the road by the mall. It is located in a good spot with no cars even on a saturday.
