Palm Beach International Raceway (Moroso)- Final Update - Drag Strip. This will be the last construction update that i will be doing on the drag strip.
The renovation is almost complete. The new fiber optic timing system is in and operational. The first car down the track went a 16.xx. The left lane has been diamond ground and is now being polished. The Right lane is almost finished with the diamond grind and will be polished after that. When that is finished we will begin the process of spraying and dragging. The road areas have been paved. One change in plans is now all of the pit parking that is east of the track from the staging lanes to almost where the scales will be is going to be paved. The new scoreboards are on property but not up yet. FPL still has a little bit to do.
The reopen date is set for November 8th.
Looking forward to seeing everyone back out at the track when we reopen.

Wednesday and Friday nights racing will be 25 to race and 10 to watch. I do not know what the dates we will be closed for the holidays this year but if it is the same as last year we were only closed the days in between christmas and new years.

Hey Ed, It's lookin' Great! and we thank you for your updates and dedication to the new "Moroso"....or whatever it will be called.
One more thing Ed, can you put to bed the rumor of Wilson Manifold's buying out the "New 3 Partner's" recently. Is it true?, untrue? or in the works? Thanks Gent!

WOW $25 to race. I remember only 8 years ago it was $10 to race or $8 to watch. I hope for that money it is prepped, hooking good, and you get more than 3 runs in a night.

Under new ownership and a new track I know many of us are looking forward to improvement. They certainly took the time to do it right on this build and I'm optimistic.
