Bradenton has a 1/4 track about 80 miles away.

Bradenton 1/4 track, Immokalee has a 1/8th track. I believe Imm. is about 50 miles away, Bradenton is about 80 or so like the above poster mentioned.

Bradenton is probably the best track in florida for hooking.

Tracy will keep her job she has here (works from home) I will hopfully set something up before we go...We could actually live on her salary comfortably and I could be a stay at home Dad.....LOL

I hear ya on the no snow and ice thing...I am so done with it

Thanks guys on the drag strip reference.....WOW, that many within a 1.5 hour drive i'm guessing....A whole lot better than here on L.I.

It is a great tie to move down here right now. Houses dirt cheap, but jobs making over 40k are a little harder to get unless you know someone. If you are looking to buy a house anywhere anround here let me know and my wife can send you info on as many homes as you want.

houses are dirt cheap here, i bought my house in port charlotte right after hurricane charlie, paid 130k. that was the only thing i could find liveable at the time. now its only worth 60k at the most. we had to rip out the bathromm cause they used the wrong drywall and the walls sank in the shower and we had mold. were thinking of foreclosing on it cause its worth half of what we paid for it

when you come down hit me up, My wife is in real estate, and can show you around, or have some places to look at ahead of time if you want.

She can even send you a e-mail from the MLS with some possibilities or if you just want to see what you can get for your money.

I'm originally from Ohio and have lived here for 15 years. You don't have to shovel heat and throwing away your snow gear is a great feeling.
