New Tattoo
If there are any fishing fans out there hopefully you'll like the Mahi Mahi I put on my right shoulder. I got it done at Tattoo Time in Maitland and the artist's name was Kimo. I am not trying to promote for them but I am very happy with how the tattoo turned out and am pretty sure this is a one of kind that will not be duplicated much (atleast I hope so).

On my left shoulder I may put a yellowfin tuna in the same style or a big blue marlin with the same color intensity. Just another few months away for that one though. thanks for the compliments

Once it finishes healing up I will throw in a better picture. Having the girlfriend working the camera sometimes just doesn't work. the reason I got the mahi is that I have been going deep sea fishing since I was five years old and up until I graduated from high school and my first year in college I was going two to three times a week on my father's boat. My parent's are divorced so when I get to go fishing with my dad it feels like I get to catch up on so much missed time that I didn't get to spend with him while I was growing up in my younger years so it's more so to show the commitment I have to deep sea fishing, and the time I appreciate for him being successful and having our own boat and being able to take me out.
If you already have tattoo's or are thinking about getting one, it is easier than you think to find something that you like and appreciate for a really long extended period of time.

Always good to see friends here, as well, Russ. It will be awhile, however, it will be well worth the wait. Have decided on a ProCharger instead of all motor build. Looking to purchase the S/C before I buy the car. New license plate will be Z-2H8 on the same US Army background.

Mostly just a street-n-strip car. It won't see much track time. When it does, it will be soft launches for now. I learned form my last hotrod to not mod unless the cash is in-hand. I'll keep it right at 600 RWHP @ about 5 psi ... soas not to kill the driveline.
Because of the cost, I was looking at a 2006 year model, however, GM started doing a T6060 transmission and stronger rearend in 2008. The 2008's are a little slower/heavier than the 2006/2007 models ... it's not going to matter much. The difference is very minimal weight-wise. So I won't have to redo the driveline right off the bat, I'll put that money into the cost of a 2008, though, I realize the driveline will have to eventually be strengthened as I move up to newer power levels.
For now, I just need to get to a start point with the car and enjoy it for a year or so while I save money to build it up a little bit later. In the end, I'm looking at having the motor forged and APS TT's. Prob will have the motor re-sleeved and overbored.
That's a looooooong time down the road. As we all know, it takes money,
