AC Problem
Hey guys, i wrote a post a couple of weeks ago about having an ac problem that apparently got erased but anyway, the response that I got was that my evaporator was freezing over due to low r134 level. So I went to autozone today and got one of those sub zero kits and recharged it. The guage didnt move one bit so i had no real idea what was happenning so i just put the entire can in there. after i was done i took it for a little test drive and it still doesnt cool right. I know the outside heat wont allow it to cool to its normal temp but it didnt make any difference at all. Should I buy another can and recharge it again or is there another problem I should look into?

theres a reason why those of us that do ac for a living call those thing suicide charges..
with out a highside reading theres no real way to tell you whats going on.. and you can't read the highside off the gauge on the can..
its very possible it is now overchaged and the highside cut out switch just keeps killing the compressor

also with out vacuuming down th system adding 134 can actually help to compress what ever air is in the system. which can cause moisture buildup.. the V7 compressor design on these cars are real garbage IMO.. thats why i had converted my car to a sanden compressor. when the v7 dies it will dump crap into the condenser which really isn't flushable.. unless you have arefridgerent flush machine.. more often the not replacing the condenser is necessary..
have you tried getting any leaves and crap out from infront of the condenser?? then have it evacuated and recharged
