Default Thanks go out to Kwiksilver and Corvettekid

Thanks Mike and Mike. FOR helping do the optispark on the Corvette. Wasnt as big a job as I thought, but we did get a lot of cleaning done under there. With all the flack I was hearing from anti opti folks I thought I was in for a major PITA. Turned out it was easier than replacing a water pump on an early small block. And we did the plug wires too. Easy as hell.

No problem, and no doubt dude! That was WAY easier than I figured. I need to get Gene over to do his, and he will do that MSD one, so that will be fun.

See ya soon! Sorry I missed Mike R!

The alternator fell loose and shorted out on the maiden voyage, blowing up the alternator and the battery. (not my fault, DPO left a bunch of stuff loose). All fixed now. It is way driveable now, I am just doing a few little things to make it livable for me. LOL

You guys are awesome. Thanks again go out to Mike for coming by the other night to help with the valve adjustment. NO MORE VALVE TAPPING!!. Its awesome. I am not gonna do anything with the exhaust right now. I spent way too much money on this thing, I have nearly $4000 in it allready. That includes all the incidentals like fluids, cleaners, etc etc, so I guess its not terrible, but I didnt want to go over $4000 on this thing. That and I want a differant gear in the rear end. Its got 2.59s in there now. Dog slow off the line. Of course I am used to a lot more power and a 6 speed and 3.45s, but it still feels slow as hell.
